  • The food was exceptional, the quality was better than average. For this price, really well deserved. Highly recommend the mussels in white wine sauce, the sauce is flavorful but not salty very well balanced and the mussels were cooked perfectly (hard to find perfectly cooked mussels in Hong Kong). Had the Foie Gras, again cooked perfectly that the center is slightly pinkish, but personally I prefer to have a slight crunchy crust on the outside. The roast suckling pig, the skin was crispy like Chinese suckling pigs but the meat was so tender and soft it just melts in your mouth (also recommend to try). The duck confit was also very tender but personality would like the skin more crispy too. Overall all their food the flavors are so well balanced, the taste was so comforting throughout. And definitely don't miss their dessert! We were only able to stomach the creme brulee, it was such a creamy custard/pudding texture and the aroma from the vanilla beans was divine. Even though they are situated in a cooked food center, their service is attentive on par to what you get in 5 start hotel restaurants. The price as a cooked food center isn't cheap but comparing to other western restaurants serving this quality in Central/Sheung Wan definitely a deal. It's always packed so recommend booking a table (if you can dial through) or come later in the evening on a weekday to test your luck if any table has finished their meal.

  • Wow! We are advised by Hong Kong Youtubers and come to this modernized food hawker sites in Sheung Wan district. There are a number of restaurants inside this area. The dishes that we ordered are very well prepared. The Chicken dish is very tasty and the Salmon skin is crispy and the sauce is paired well with the fish. Very high quality and reasonable price.

  • The taste of the food was fine, but not as good as the YouTuber mentioned.

  • Tucked inside a bustling local food market, this French gem delivers an unforgettable culinary experience. The ambiance is charmingly rustic, yet the service is nothing short of exquisite—attentive, warm, and effortlessly elegant. Their crispy pork knuckles are a revelation: perfectly golden, with a crackling exterior that gives way to tender, flavorful meat. Paired with delicate sides and a glass of wine, it’s a dish that bridges comfort and sophistication. The chef’s attention to detail and the staff’s genuine hospitality make every visit feel special. It’s a rare find where market energy meets refined French cuisine in perfect harmony. The pistachio soufflé is a stunning blend of elegance and indulgence. Its delicate rise and airy texture showcase expert technique, while the subtle nuttiness of pistachio adds a refined depth of flavor. Lightly crisp on the outside and cloud-like within, each spoonful melts effortlessly.

  • ABC is famous not only about the food, but it’s location: how can you imagine you could find such a good western Restaurant inside a government food stall complex? And yes, they serve pretty good courses. I like their mains the most. Their dessert choices are pretty good as well, like the soufflé we have is made from raspberry, which is a bit different from outside but turns out it’s something you cannot miss. And they pair with good wines too. Of course you can BYO. It a place you want to feel the local energy but with cozy well served three course meal.

  • Well, it was a amazingly pleasant surprise to discover a high quality Italian restaurant in the Cooked Food Court. Amazing food with twist, great service and attention of all details. honestly this restaurant belongs to one of the main streets than to be hidden inside. Well recommended

  • Locally famous for serving up upscale food in a not so upscale environment. As much as I appreciate the food, it still feels too expensive to be paying 400-500 per person for dinner while seated in a cooked food center. But qualm I have is immediately solved if I come in for lunch. Lunch is way more affordable and more in line with that you'd expect to pay from eating at the Queen Street Cooked Food Center. The lunch set includes a drink, and for an additional 15.00 HKD, you'll get a daily soup as well. Mains range from 58 to 108, although I have seen small variations in the pricing. Food quality is always above average and execution is spot on most of the time. Definitely come early as there is always a wait if you come around 1pm on a weekday.

  • An unexpected gem that’s tucked away in a cooked food market which serves noteworthy French cuisine with a few Italian dishes in the mix. Out of the dishes that we have sampled, the most remarkable were the Pan-Fried Foie Gras and Roasted Suckling Pig. Firstly, the sweet apple sauce complemented the perfectly seared Foie Gras. It was slightly crunchy on the outside and buttery soft inside. As for the Suckling Pig, the meat was unbeatably tender and the skin roasted into a burnished golden crackling. The popular duck confit was a let down; the portion was a bit small and had a dried-out texture. Not sure if it was overcooked or have been cooked for a while. Service was top notch; both the owner and his staffs were attentive and friendly. I would say the menu was priced reasonably since their ingredients were all fresh and imported. But best of all, free corkage!
